CVS denied permit for drive-through
Be sure to read the article regarding the CVS permit denial. The denial shows how the neighborhood can fight, and win, when it comes to a long term direction and betterment of the neighborhood. Hopefully, City Council will continue to work closely with the neighborhood groups to build a long term cohesive plan.

Redevelopment Wish List
Last week, CVS was once again denied approval for their plan. Technically, this could leave a large opportunity and parcel available. In addition, the boating store on Nebraska (South of Osborne) has closed leaving another large parcel. It appears the boating store offers nearly 1 acre of property with the building for less than half [...]
CVS = Cast Vote and Speak
Yesterday, a commenter had requested that we take a straw poll to find out how residents felt on the CVS issue. Today, this post will ask. Do you support CVS IN THE PLAN THEY ARE SUBMITTING or would you rather wait or hold out for either a different company to develop, or hold them to [...]

Is CVS Totally dead?
According to the article in the Tampa Tribune, City Council not only voted to deny the CVS plan, but they also voted to deny the opportunity for a new Public Hearing. This will all but kill the possibility of the CVS project. I was still puzzled with the comment of the CVS attorney Jim Shimberg, [...]

So long CVS!
After reading Kathy Steele’s article in the Tampa Tribune, it got me thinking about “the long range plan” of our neighborhood. Our neighborhood has fought very had over the past few decades to erase and correct many, many mistakes made over the decades of decay. (Otherwise know as the ‘80s). We have seen now hard [...]
