I will walk with Bob when he does a SH walk, no problemo. Yeah i agree, Ferlita needs a dose of niceness.
If you loved Iorio, Ferlita will be an even bigger disaster. And she doesn’t give a *@&! about Seminole Heights.
Not that I’ve made my mind up yet about who I plan to vote for, but can you explain in more detail why you say Ferlita doesn’t care about SH? I guess I was always under the impression that she did care, but maybe I am mistaken. Your reason for such a claim would certainly help those of us not so “in the loop” to be better equipped to make an educated vote.
For years she had her pharmacy here in Seminole Heights. What did she ever do for the community of Seminole Heights if it didn’t benefit her pharmacy or the attrocious mini-mart she built across from the pharmacy? It was never about the community. Did she work to revitalize Nebraska let alone anyplace else in SH. I think she served as SESH president for a while nothing memorable there. In her time on City Council did she ever help improve the problem with code enforcement, residential crime, did she ever get involved with either of the business groups?
Buckhorn on the otherhand has ALWAYS been vocal and active in supporting neighborhoods…including Seminole Heights. He supported neighborhoods when his served in the administration of Sandy Freeman and in his 8 years on City Council.
Could not agree more with the last post. Nobody was more engaged on SH issues than Buckhorn. He would have won the last time except Iorio jumped in at the last moment. We could not have a better friend.
Ferlita is to unstable to be Mayor.
