From the SESHCA email group:
Thanks to Sherry’s efforts over the past year or so, the city has figured out a way to let us use two lots here in the neighborhood for a community garden. SESCHA; however, must generate funds to pay for the costs associated with this project so we are looking [...]

New blog hits Tampa’s scene
Many commentor’s on the site have been mentioning a new website that is threatening to change the political landscape in Tampa. http://politicsintampa.wordpress.com/

To clarify, these ads are paid advertisements and are not meant to be construed as having support one way or another. Since the blog has become a centralized outlet for neighborhood news and communication, it was decided that [...]

What is the plan to save Lake Roberta?
There was a very interesting article in the St. Petersburg Times regarding the situation of Lake Roberta. If you haven’t driven or walked by the lake lately, you must see the current condition. How can you help?
Yesterday, we did a post regarding the blog created for 6003 Otis Ave. The story of a neighbor tired of the eyesore and the lack of city cooperation. The story spotlighted flaws in the city’s code enforcement department. It is almost embarrassing that our city leaders allow children to be raised in the filth and [...]
